type='text'>praise God for viruses!!

recently i have been underemployed and unwilling to turn to my parents for support. so when i was in alaska this past weekend i did not have the purchasing power as the rest of the company i was keeping. but i didnt spend that much because i was sick. so im going to look at the bright side of this situation (me being sick) by saying God was helping me out. my getting sick reduced my capability to engage myself in high-cost activities. haha. i hope i can look at it like that. for lunch i either had a meal at mcdonald's. for dinner a nice bowl of soup (for health benefits i would say). so i kept things relatively cost-effective, praise God.

i was inspired while in the wilderness that is anchorage. seeing all that God is able of creating leads me to stand in awe. and just stand here. knowing, expecting, desiring change. growth. deeper connected to the One whom created me.

He reminded me again of the covenant He made to His people, and the commitment i made when i recommitted myself. yes, it was swoo and beks up there getting married but i saw God, and the love He has for me (for all of us). during the wedding the pastor even mentioned that Christ was the bridegroom of the church, and of our souls. i shall not be in want.
Christ's Captivating Design (3CCD)

so i have been in alaska for the past 3 days and am being completely overwhelmed by its natural beauty. the surrounding area of anchorage is almost non-replicatable. the mountains. the ocean. the friendly people. its as if God spent a little more time creating alaska. everywhere i have been has more than exceeded any expectation i had coming into this trip. i will guarantee you this is not the last time i will be in anchorage alaska.

im up here as a groomsman for my boy woo-tang. hes getting married in 12.5 hours to a wonderful woman that complements his entire being. if you have ever wondered if such a thing as soul-mates or "the one" existed mr. woo and b.c. are prime examples of its embodiment. thats encouraging to know that as humans we make mistakes, but God doesnt. its also encouraging to see where sj and i will be heading in 3~4 years.

the whole time up here has been great catching up with "the boys" from a few summers ago. seeing where God has brought them, and how He is working in their lives, gives me hope knowing that Christ isnt done with me yet. there is so much more He has for me to do. pray for a willingness to follow His lead obediently.

ask for pics of the wedding and i will send. make sure your digital camcorder has 3CCD capabilities. as the saying goes, "three eyes are better than one."
Christian literature

so im trying to write a book, and have been for quite some time now. im struggling with trying to keep it "pc" (perfectly Christian) and still purvey realistically the depths of my emotions. i want to keep the book as close to what actually happened (verbally, physically, spiritually) as possible, but i wasnt really walking close with God at the time and said/did things i am not proud of. im going to go ahead and put the inappropriately vulgar language and activities in the manuscript, though, im not sure how much support/understanding/acceptance its going to get.

but am i really writing it for the acceptance of others? i dont think so. when i was convicted to go ahead with this project it was mainly to help other brothers and sisters in Christ be encouraged by what Jesus has walked with me through. so in the words of my friend mark cuban, "|=|_| [ |< it."<div
